Adam explains it was two different things that really fired him up about grip training. Adam tells Eric the first thing that started his monster grip training off was John Brookfield’s book called Master of Hand Strength and a two inch axle from his high school shop class.
The first time he trained with that axle he was sore for a week. Now Adam was sold on thick bar training. Dennis Rogers was also a major influence in Adam’s quest to become the best he can be in the world of grip. Dennis’s DVD called 336 pounds of Fury really pushed Adam over the edge to learn to the art of bending, twisting and breaking metal. Adam feels that out of all the different strength sports grip work really can’t be defined.
