Adrenal Glands Part 1-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Stephen Santangelo to the broadcast. Stephen is a Strength Athlete, Organic Farmer, and Strongman who still competes in the long-standing tradition of old-time weightlifting. Eric and Stephen start our podcast right off with the importance of the Adrenal Glands and how important their role is to our lives. But before we go right into today’s topic we want to talk about two of Stephen’s products which have a direct effect on the Adrenals! They are his greens formula and miracle minerals. Stephen does extensive testing on his products repeatedly. His products are designed for the adrenals, the blood brain barrier and at the cellular level. We also address protein powder especially a pure Whey protein Stephen produces on occasion. Eric talks about a recent experience he had with a bag of it.We talk about the bodies energy. When were in a healthy adrenal state energy takes place at the cellular level. When we begin to crave excess calories, sugars and heightened cortisol levels we are heading for Adrenal fatigue. As we crave and consume more calories our bodies can’t digest food properly which destroys our digestive enzymes. Now our body is sending out more information which in turn creates more cortisol and adrenaline. This is a very unhealthy situation to which those two little control towers on each kidney have to take over at that point.We talk about the impact of age, exercising and changing our approach as to how we train and our overall health. These are very important steps to the preservation of our adrenal glands. When men are on the road of adrenal burnout they will experience insomnia, hot flashes and night sweats, One of the big reasons for this is the lack of signals between testosterone and the adrenal glands.Eric and Stephen talk about some of the symptoms he’s seen when he meets people who potentially have adrenal burnout. As Stephen relates to us the eyes tell it all. The eyes will have a yellow discoloration, the pupils are more dilated than normal and the skin texture around the eyes is rough in texture. We talk about the choices we make when we train. We both feel that taking one major movement for that day and working it big and heavy gives your body the best bang for the buck. We’re not saying to not work the other movements in for that same day but to go much lighter on the other training to enhance everything.
