Basic Blue Print Part 2-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Bud Jeffries to the Broadcast. Bud is a Strength coach, author, motivational speaker, minister, business owner and one of only a handful of professional performing strongman on tour in the USA. Eric and Bud kick the show right off with The Basic Blue Print Part 2. We really start off with the real basics of life and that’s Sand Bag and Stone Lifting. We can’t emphasize that enough. When your lifting outdoors with sandbags and stones this type of odd object lifting will take you places both mentally and physically and spiritually like no other type of movement. This is pure training grit from head to toe and beyond!  Eric and Bud talk about this facebook post where he pulled two stones piled on one another.  As Bud relates this was not an easy lift at all. Your whole center of gravity changes meaning more body parts get tested and have to work more in unison together to have success. We both believe that this is what we call a basic lift. I know it’s not the basic lifts we talked about in the Basic Blue Print Part 1 but it has such carry over to everything else in strength we talk about on Motivation and Muscle.Elements? If there ever was a magic bullet in weightlifting/strength its to train in every weather element imaginable. Eric and Bud agree completely that to become the best version of oneself you’re going to have to do some unpleasant things to achieve your lifting goals. We get into the trend of specializing in any given sport. The obvious response to that sport would be to keep practicing the given sport and that will take care of everything. That is never the case in anything. When you train the basics in the weight room it always enhances every sport outside of the gym you’re involved with. This is something that must be recognized by the coaches running this programs or the team really loses out.We talk about the pros and cons of the York Power Rack System. You can never take away the pure strength which can be built through the correct use of partials at every angle in a Power rack. The power rack will enhance your strength considerably not only in the gym but with your everyday life. If you give it some real thought how many times in daily life are you in a full squat position. No matter what your doing your body is more prone to be in a partial position. That one reason alone should have you marching right into the power rack to strength the body fully. We wind the podcast up with Eric and Bud talking about doing a few more shows continuing on our topic of strength. We will develop the power rack training even more. We will be especially keying on the angles and positions to train to become super strong and able to perform at any angle whether you choose to compete or not. These are principals that have been overlooked for decades and need to be reestablished if you truly want to be the champion we know you are!
