The basis for anything to do with the Big Iron is to always build your base lifts with the Squat, Deadlift, and Press. There is no other way to lay the foundation to become stronger for your future endeavors.
The next order of business is every time your training you must go as hard as you can for whatever movements you’re doing that day. This means no matter what day you train or the environment you are in you must be locked and loaded and ready to go. Building these successful patterns will allow you to succeed that much faster with your short and long range goals! With hard training comes building a rock hard mind. You must be able to endure as much as can be tolerated for any given time in your life. The harder you can become mentally, physically and spiritually the greater your resistance will be to failure. This way when you have a setback it won’t keep you there permanently.
Let’s now talk about how to become as strong as we can possibly be! We already addressed on how to build your foundation with the basic movements, secondly, we draw upon becoming as hard as iron and with those two factors in place, we create strong. Strong or Strength as we call it is a process we build over long periods of time. Once we continually do this and build the body in a way that can keep us making gains in strength and size we will have and we will keep having the ability to go after new feets of strength. This could range from Strongman to the Highland Games and in between. It’s up to you how far you want to take it!Eric and Nick finish this most informative podcast off with some key points of education here.  The first key point is you must build the basics period. Your success is dependent on this. The second point is to harden yourself mentally, physically and spiritually. Never settle for less here. The third key point here is to become strong. Generate as much power as you can to whatever it is your attacking in the gym that day. You will succeed in everything you do when you have the hunger and desire to never stop no matter what obstacles are put in front of you. Let’s all become Basic, Hard and Strong!
