The why behind this idea is because these exercises cover a lot of your overall anatomy.  Here are the big four movements to get you started. The Dead Stop Squat leads off. Secondly in the mix is the one arm dumbbell press. Thirdly is the one arm dumbbell row and last but not least is some form of the deadlift with a barbell or a stone.  We add a few more exercises to complete the basics stated above to enhance each other and they are as follows. We address neck work, the abdominals, calf work and some form of direct grip work.Eric and Bud talk about the frequency of this style of training and the number of heavy sets needed to stimulate the body to grow overall. We also stress how important it is to use heavy weights to build the quality muscle that makes your body super strong. Your lifting form is paramount in your training but it has to be accompanied with very heavy hard lifting.
