Chase Karnes-Starting Strongman-#490-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Podcast Show Welcomes Chase Karnes to the Broadcast. Chase is a national and international level competitive strongman who competes in the lightweight 220 and 231-pound weight classes, trains clients in the private sector for over ten years through Argonauts Fitness, holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from Murray State University and takes just as much pride in his 18 years of under-the-bar experience combined with over 12 years of coaching experience. Eric and Chase tackle a subject that’s becoming so popular among the younger strength athletes of today. Eric and Chase talk about his second place finish in nationals. Chase tells Eric that he is in the process of off season training. Chase explains he’s going to train like a bodybuilder for the next 12 to 16 weeks. He followed the same program last year and made gains in strength, body weight, nagging injuries healed up and lifting was enjoyable again. Eric and Chase talk about what its like to tackle strongman for the first time as a teenager. Eric gives examples to Chase on how he takes beginners with strongman and really changes their whole logic on weightlifting.
