We talk about how much fun it is not just for the student but also the trainer when he gets someone who has passion for what he or she is learning how to do. Rob and I especially like the never ending questions that students keeps asking. The look of accomplishment and delight in their face when completing a full squat for the first time. The ability to think out loud always trying to make the lift better. The athletes response when asked where would you like to be at in your training in one year. Taking this athlete through phase after phase of training and watching the growth both physically and mentally. Putting this athlete on a 20 rep squat program with breathing pullovers and a gallon of milk per day. Time tested ways that still work for any athlete willing to bust their butt to get there. The question I always get is:Will I Get BIG? Not only will you get big but you’ll have to turn sideways to get through doorways. You should see the look on their face after that.
