Delays. We’ve all had them.
Eric and Geoffrey discuss how work, family, injury and just day to day life can really screw our training up if we let it.
The main thing to think about is not why me but how am I going to take the situation at hand and build it into goals and gains.
We’ve talked about the ability to create standards in our life and when things veer off course we always have a plan of action to implement to get our mental and physical ability back on course.
This gives us a chance to evaluate the situation at hand and take charge.
Once were back in the groove of training new gains and goals will be recognized. The feeling of wrapping your hands around a bar is so exciting or nailing a dead stop squat for the first time in a long time.
Delay’s are temporary but lifting is for a life time. The iron will always watch over you. All you need to do is practice patience and dominate and obliterate everything from this point on in your path.
There is nothing we can’t do.
