Heavy Outside Summer Training-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Jon Bruney to the broadcast. Jon is a Strongman, Author, Motivational Speaker, Pastor and Writer for Milo Magazine. Eric and Jon kick the podcast off with Heavy Outside Summer Training. As the summer season is upon us lots of strength trainees like to get outside and hit the weights and stones hard. As Jon tells Eric it’s time to get out of the Dungeon and get outdoors for some real misery. When we talk about the word misery we explain how it all intertwines with how we rise to the occasion of every workout we do. 
Our first result producing movement is called the tire flip. I think the word in itself gives a full explanation of what it is.  Two things of note here. Jon and I believe this movement will accomplish super strength and endurance when the tire is flipped for varying distance. and that this might just be the best exercise to accomplish getting into the best shape of your life. Hardstyle tire flipping has a carry over to all of your other lifts. The next two Heavy Outside Summer Training modalities we talk about our tire jumps and sledgehammer tire strikes. These are two more examples of some really serious strength and bulk body building exercises. One word of caution for tire jumps. Make sure the side wall of your tire is extremely hard. If you jump onto a soft sidewall you could injure yourself because it can’t hold your bodyweight once you land upon it.
The next heavy movement we talk about is the loaded carry. We make reference to how bags of cement, plastic buckets, and rolls of duck tape can literally build a Superman out of you!  We now get the benefits of pulling and pushing together of our heavy summer objects in our training. We believe that the combination of pushing a prowler and dragging a tire will produce not only super strength and endurance but these two movements will translate to strength success in every facet of your life. 
Eric and Jon finish off this Super Strength Summer Podcast off with these specific notes. These manly movements can be used at any point within your training day. If you want to make these movements work on a their own day that’s a super way to becoming one brutal individual. Secondly, these strongman movements can be used as finishers when all of your other training has been done for the day. The greatest thing about being outdoors and training heavy is the ability of you being surrounded by nature’s natural call. So get outside and eat some sunshine, breathe in some cool air, push, drag and pull some heavy stuff but most of all reconnect with who and what you are.
