Holly defines fitness to Eric with the age old question:”How Do You Feel?” Holly sums it up by explaining that no matter what your doing there will be times you’ll need to pull back, reevaluate, and change your training in a way that is not beating the life out of you. This is very important to construct programs which will build more gains then physical damage. Eric and Holly talk about the value of carrying odd objects and the power of moving events in general. We talk about the importance of a good trainer and why some of their ego’s have really done damage to their clients. A qualified trainer knows that its not about them. It’s all about the trainee and their continued progress. We talk about the little mental things we come up with and how it can change the scope of our lifting. We answer the age old question of why didn’t I think of this before? We talk about some of the unique situations we’ve been through good or bad and how lifting has held us together at the seams.
