Introducing-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Wrestler, Writer, Speaker, Entrepreneur, and the Pioneer of the Body Weight Exercise Movement with the groundbreaking book Combat Conditioning Matt Furey to the Broadcast.
Eric and Matt start our show off with introducing Matt to our M&M Family. We briefly talk about the book Psycho-Cybernetics and how important it is to stop concentrating on past failures and begin to believe and take hold of your life. By removing the obstacles in your life and living a life of Gratitude your transformation of you will begin to start taking shape. We get right into the word gratitude and describe to you how important the little things we do in our lives at times we take for granted and don’t realize how important it is until we lose it. We talk about my brother Jimmy who was wheelchair bound and how every morning just to have the ability to get out of bed and put your feet on the floor is such a blessing. This is one of the many things in your life to give thanks about along with recognizing all the great things you’ve done up to this point in your life.Eric and Matt talk about their different styles of training. It starts and goes from sandbags, stones internal breathing, martial arts and isometrics to name a few examples. We talk about the Royal Court exercises found in Combat Conditioning and the question that is always presented to Matt. Is the question do you still do them? As Matt tells Eric Yes and No. The thing we all must realize is as our libraries of knowledge grow we change what we do over and over again. That doesn’t mean we move away from our staple movements it just means we are improving on everything more every day! Right now Matt is concentrating on building the internal power.
We talk about how beneficial Indian Clubs are in Matt’s training and how the clubs build super strong Ligament and Tendon Strength. Though Matt’s favorite piece of steel in his hands these days is the Mace. Matt describes how he trains with the Mace and how he feels it develops the brain from its use.
Eric and Matt finish this Success Laden podcast off with the word Objective. Matt’s  description is all about the feedback you give and get back from your children. The main point we key on is kids who are playing organized sports. Many parents make the mistake of only talking about their children’s failures rather than their successes. Sometimes it’s better to hire a coach for your son or daughter because you’re not going to be dealing with the family conflict of always saying the wrong thing. The thing that really shines here is once you get over the criticism of anyone you’re involved with they will eventually seek out what you think. Matt gives us a great description of his relationship with his son Frank and what it’s meant during his baseball season.
