Eric Fiorillo  Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Podcast Show Welcomes Motivational Speaker, Strongman and the Master of the Bent Press Iron Tamer David Whitley to the Broadcast.

I meaning Eric was writing an article for the Fiorillo Barbell Company Blog called Ruggedness. As I was writing this article and getting more and more pumped up about it I decided I needed to do a podcast with someone right now.

The first one I thought of was David Whitley.

So I reached out to him and he was gracious enough to come on today. I described the look of power as building a Hulk like huge neck, with mountain like traps and bowling ball shoulders. Tell me who wouldn’t want that type of strength and power pouring out of every pore?

Eric and David started talking about one of the most massive strength legends by the name of Marvin Eder. He was truly head and shoulders above his competition in so many ways.

Eric told David that Anthony Ditillo was one of his heroes who really started him on building that rugged power and size in the power rack. Anthony Ditillo was not only a giant in that power rack and had a huge powerful body but this man had one of the largest set of traps I’ve ever seen. Anthony wrote not only for Peary Rader’s Iron Man Magazine but he wrote for Milo in the 1990’s.

Eric and David talked about other lifters who oozed the look of ruggedness. We also got into the mental training needed to grow your physical ruggedness. The fact is you really can’t have one without the other.

We will talk you through on how to grow that look of power, strength, manliness and ruggedness and be that man or woman who will never be afraid to take that one big shot at glory through your ruggedness.
