Janelle Pica-Introduction-#507-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Podcast Streaming now 24/7 Welcomes Janelle Pica to the broadcast. Janelle is a certified trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Certified RKC/SFG instructor Level 2, gym owner and a competitive athlete. Eric introduces Janelle to the family with who were your influences and why did you get into physical culture. We talk about super heroes and how they’ve played such a major role in all of our lives. Janelle tells Eric that she was an all star basketball player from the age of eight to seventeen years of age. Janelle was getting looks and offers from major colleges to come play college basketball for them. Because Janelle played basketball non stop for nine years and never did any strength training she began to have knee problems. The inflammation was so bad that by half time she’d be sitting on the bench in pain. She new at that point her basketball dreams were over. She could no longer perform at a high level anymore. So upon entering college she began to investigate how to get in really great shape without putting a lot of wear on the joints. Janelle found kettlebell training which would change her life forever. Eric and Janelle really hit on the importance of the gym life and how it can truly make your life so powerful. We also address how we as entrepreneurs are wired differently. Things and people we used to have so much more common with no longer holds water with us. Eric and Janelle talk about Janelle’s new shoulder pressing course titled Powerful Pressing. This course is specialized in a way to build a very big military press overhead. Janelle has mobility work that you’ll do built right  into the beginning of the lift as a primer and at the end of your workout to clean the body up and aid in recovery for the next workout. Eric and Janelle talk about some of her favorite kettlebell movements. Janelle tells Eric the swing is still one of her favorites followed by the double kettlebell front squat and finishing off with the kettlebell press. We talk about the commitment  we have to physical culture and physical strength and why its so important to who you are and where you will go. Will you commit to excellence?
