After the Arnold Ken decided he was no longer going to compete in the heavy weight class, deciding to move down to the middle weight class . Ken found that all the dieting and cardio he was doing to trim down was becoming not only counter productive to his goals but he was losing strength and not recovering. Ken told me he ended up hiring a strength coach to help him get back on track and that he did. Ken stopped the fat burners, the heavy cardio sessions and got his weight to stabilize. He accomplished this by consuming more protein. carbs and eating good old fashioned whole foods. Ken now trains every single facet of strength. He’s explosive, enduring and handling iron that he was using as a heavy weight strongman. With Ken following his new diet and changing his training routine he came in first place in the Colorado State Strongman as a middle weight. When you take action and make a plan you can’t fail.
