King Kong–Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Show Welcomes Jedd Johnson to the Broadcast. Jedd is a Speaker, Performing Strongman, and Three-Time National Grip Strength Champion.Eric and Jedd start our discussion off on two Topics every lifter wants to be a part of. We begin discussing the Word Wide Grip contest held on October 28, 2017, Titled King Kong of Grip and how to build quality grip Power from the shoulders down.Eric and Jedd talk about the King Kong Grip Event with Jedd hosting the meet in a more centralized area of Pennsylvania making it much easier for the competitors and the events that each individual will be required to participate in. There are four events total all consisting of one-handed medlies!   Eric and Jedd get right into the building up of the shoulder right down to the fingertips. Ask yourself how important it is and why? We can’t emphasize enough that a weak grip can lead to shoulder problems and injured or just unhealthy shoulders can lead to a weak grip. Just follow the chain of events along the length of the arm for the answers! We talk about how to train the shoulders, the biceps, the triceps and some great thick bar movements for the forearm Muscle Bellies! We next get into building wrist power. Jedd believes one of the best exercises to do is the thick handled dumbbell holds for sets and time. Now we are going to talk about the hands and fingers for more direct strength and power. Two big movements we both agree upon is thickly handled dumbbell deadlifts and Pinch Blocking. You will have hands the size of catchers mitt and fingers like darts which will sink into an unyielding object you pick up when you build these movements into your grip training. Eric and Jedd summerize our Topic called King Kong off with a few thought pointers. The first point to always remember is to do your research ON THIS SUBJECT  or seek someone out who has experience in grip work. It could save you a lot of time and keep you injury free. Secondly, work with a grip movement or two and add them to your regular training. When you have established your grip foundation then you can do them on a given day, experiment with other grip movements and eventually compete in the King Kong of Grip!
