Will go into detail starting from the top of the neck right down to the top of your butt. Eric and Logan talk about developing the neck with heavy trap work. When you work the neck and traps with heavy shrugs the two body parts give the impression there fused together. We talk about the great lifter J.C. Hise and the Hise shrug to build imposing traps as another example. We talk about snatches and cleans for the traps with an olympic bar or kettlebell. We address how the traps are really engaged whenever your walking with a stone or sandbag out in front of you. Not only will this type of training and conditioning engage your traps but all of the muscles of the back will be working hard to keep you moving so you can hold on to these unbalanced objects. As we move down the back we talk about rowing with a dumbbell. We feel this hits the lats much harder then using a standard barbell. We talk about thick bar dumbbell handles for rowing and how you get a two for one with this lift. We talk about building the spinal erectors using a glute ham machine.
