Loss and Lifting-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Bud Jeffries to the Broadcast. Bud is a Strength coach, author, motivational speaker, minister, business owner and one of only a handful of professional performing strongman on tour in the USA. Eric and Bud kick the show right off with a family loss and Lifting strength. Bud just recently lost his father and as of late he has had to deal with multiple family issues. The moral of this story right from the beginning here is no matter what is going on in your life never and I repeat never give up your physicality! Bud’s father has been sick and hospitalized through the years and Bud has always been in the caregiver role. As Bud tells our family through the years when is dad was hospitalized because of the size of him they felt that he didn’t always get the best of care. As Bud relates to Eric that there were times where Bud would stay at the hospital to oversee his father’s care. This could be just helping the nurse move his dad or stand him up. This is where the lifting is such a godsend in your life. Bud talks about the time he was doing some kettlebell training in his dad’s room when he was freed up from tending to his dad. Once again the training proved to lighten the load on Bud both mentally and physically and anyone he would have interaction with. This is the beauty of weightlifting. It’s much more than just slinging weights around. It’s the best form of spiritual therapy you could ever be part of.Eric and Bud talk about when he would move into his father’s house for a month to look after him and he would always bring some steel tools to lighten the burden on him. This is why I always repeat on M&M what my dad said to me. Be a LEADER, not a Follower! Leaders are always looked to in times of crisis. When my dad passed on I had to contact all of my family across the country and tell them what had happened and all of the details for the services. Lifting kept me intact and allowed me to take care of everything for my mom through a very tough time.I don’t care what kind of tragedy you’re dealing with never give up on your lifting. We build so many areas of strength that most people will never experience. It’s truly a gift to have such an outlet where you can let loose, burn tons of unwanted energy and regroup to the point where you can take a fresh approach to everything again. This is truly needed and wanted when you have so many things pulling at you and you could use a clone of yourself to help out.The bottom line is that every day we face conflicts, losses and good times. Lifting will always get us through the good, bad and the ugly times. I believe we must always return to strength. This is my key personally for everything in my life no matter what.Never be afraid to take on anything that tests your resolve. You’ll be truly amazed at how strong you really are. Strength is cultivated through your lifting and the tests you constantly put yourself through. So during the high and low points in your life always make sure you have the iron close. Lift it and rejoice in the power you possess and the leadership you offer. It’s really that important! Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Connects Your Brain With Your Brawn. Enjoy!
