Midtown Throwdown 10-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Will Dinwiddie to the broadcast. Will is a Trainer, Strongman, Owner of Epic Fitness Solutions, Writer and Arm Wrestler. Eric and Will Kick it into high gear today with our discussion of Will competing in his first MMA Cage Fight. We dive right into on how he trained, what his thoughts were in and out of the cage and the reason why weight training can and will make you an immovable object over the course of time.Eric and Will talk about how he got this whole competition to take place. He sold his opponent on the idea that he was a washed up burnt out weightlifter that was only strong and not much of an athlete. The strategy worked because now the fight was set in motion. Will talks about his training rigors and how very intense it was when your training with real fighting heavyweights to prepare for the bout. Will also mentioned that many of these heavyweight fighters look just like regular normal men you meet up with every day.  Will tells Eric that he believes the way he has trained over the years with having much more eye-popping muscle on his frameworks made him so much better because of how efficient it is.  We talk about the efficiency of strongman training and how you can go from good to great at warp speed. How you can take any size object and break it down to whatever fits the personality of who wants to learn it and succeed with it. We talk about how we both have gotten our younger family members already interested in sandbags for strength. It’s truly building a lifetime of strength.Eric and Will talk about his strength preparation for the fight. His two main strongman exercises consisted of using a Yoke and an HStone for a specified footage and weight. Both of these strongman movements were timed when training just like the length of time for a round in a fight. I think this myself was pure genius on Will’s part!Will tells Eric about how confident he felt because of his ability to take down the other wrestlers through not only his great technique but his ability to overpower any size wrestler who wanted to go against him. One of the coaches asked Will if he wrestled in college. Will’s response was the last time I wrestled was in high school. I bet that made some heads turn.Will tell’s us about the mental scenario he set up internally so he could go after his opponent with aggression and fury. Will explain’s to Eric how hard it is to fight somebody who’s done you no wrong.  So you have to invent a way to motivate you. We talk about what happened when they had the weigh-in for these two fighters. Will tell’s Eric he could see the look of fear in his opponents eyes. Will knew at that point that he had the fight won.  Will was victorious in the second round of the cage fight with his opponent tapping out.
