New Challenges-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Highland Games Competitor, Strongwoman, MAS Wrestler and Olympic Lifter Danielle Curry to the Broadcast. Eric and Danielle catch up on whats she’s been up to as of late. After competing in Strongman, MAS Wrestling and the Highland games Danielle was training with some fellow powerlifters one night at the Compound. Danielle tells Eric she was filmed doing a 660 pound squat which was seen by a friend who passed it on to some Olympic Weightlifting coaches. Danielle was contacted by Ivan who felt she had the attributes to be a great Olympic Lifter and asked her if she would like to train for the 2020 Olympics?Eric and Danielle talk about the transitioning  from her three former sports to the 3 Olympic lifts. One thing that really sticks out in our conversation is about squat training. Danielle was back squatting 660 pounds  and now she is learning how to front squat with an empty bar. It’s truly what we call around here a wake up call. We talk about how the Olympic Lifts require so much athletic skill to learn and become very proficient with. We talk about how Olympic Lifting builds so much endurance and speed. Danielle tells Eric that in her short amount of time shes practiced this sport there are many new body changes constantly take shape. We talk about the most popular word in weightlifting today which is recovery. Danielle tells Eric she likes Massage and Chiropractic work when she feels lots of soreness and muscle kinks that need to be worked out so she can keep training hard.We talk about something we as lifters and people experience at one point in our life. Sometimes we get bored or just seem to be going through the motions when we do things. Danielle and Eric have both experienced this is our lifting training and have changed our direction. When we both changed our direction in lifting weights it created a new hunger, dedication and a renewed inspiration for something we loved to do.We also talk about the word failure and how so many people are so afraid of it. Failure equates to success. No matter how many times you’re on bended knee you’ll always know deep down in your heart that you’ll get back up. This is so vital to learn in the weight room and also in your life. Learn to master your failures because they are truly the path to success. Danielle proves that change is truly good!
