Power Body Building Meets The SANDDUNE-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Jon Bruney to the broadcast. Jon is a Strongman, Author, Motivational Speaker, Pastor and Writer for Milo Magazine.Eric and Jon fire into some old style Power Body Building with the SANDDUNE Stepper wrapped in between it. Power Body Building would be defined as constantly building power and strength to new levels. The word body building equates very much to Physical Culture which encompasses Mind, Body, and Spirit. Body Building then was much different from how it’s perceived today. We refer to it in its purest form. Building your body!
Think about the legends like Grimek, Anderson, Hepburn, Arnold, Columbo, Casey and Stanko to name a few. They all had that look of power which in turn created a very strong looking physique. The common thread between all of these men was they were all Body Builders or under construction in one form or another. They used many of the same weight lifting movements with variations in sets and reps. Think of all of the Pictures we’ve seen over the years of these Power men Pressing Overhead, Bench Pressing, Deadlifting and Squatting for starters.
From our story of Power Body Building, we now shift gears to the SANDDUNE Stepper. Both Jon and I have a set of them courtesy of the CEO and Creator Matt Dahl. Eric and Jon describe a piece of equipment that is second to none. Whether your seek Prehab, Rehab or Recovery this is by far the best tool out there! Eric and Jon give their descriptions of what they’ve been doing on the SANDDUNE Stepper and the benefits they have already derived from it. We talk about the SANDDUNES role with Proprioception. Proprioception is defined as “sense of self” or sensors which provide information. This is truly creating a break through in our training which we have never experienced before. The SANDDUNE is something everyone should investigate FOR THEIR OWN USE.
Eric and Jon finish our Outstanding Power Body Building show off with talking about the picture of Pat Casey inclining a pair of 200 pound dumbbells in each hand. If that isn’t the look of power what is? Just think of strength it took just to clean the dumbbells from the floor and set them on his thighs before sitting back and then pressing them! This was Truly the Golden Age of Weightlifting! Let’s bring Weightlifting back in a big way and restore the honor and dignity that it will always deserve from all of us! We are Power!
