Eric and Roger kick the podcast right off with two of the biggest result producing exercises ever. The two were going to bring to you today is heavy dumbbell work and the art of bent rowing. We begin with the Cyr db one hand lift overhead. The whole idea of this was to get a monster db onto your shoulder and lock it out  overhead anyway you could. We talk about how much muscle is involved  from head to toe when lifting and pressing one of these dumbbells. We believe the midsection is taxed much more then a barbell and the level of athleticism has to be brought up to a much higher level because of the physical and mental demands placed on the body. We also address the lack of trainees not only pressing but so many not even knowing what a bent row is. The row comes in variations such as using an olympic bar, dumbbells and kettlebells. We also talk about the thickness of the bar  we use when we dumbbell row. We talk about if you want to be a great stone lifter work some dumbbell rows into your program. We talk about how to create a routine with the emphasis on pressing over head and pulling bent rows. We add some high bar Olympic squats, neck work and grip work into the mix and you have a program that delivers muscle mass, strength and vitality. These are two lifts which anyone can do.
