Roger LaPointe-Pull My Finger-#218-Eric and Roger discuss one and two finger lifts. These lifts are not only tough and productive but we give you plenty of examples to try out. We discuss why these are long forgotten  lifts and why they offer so many benefits to your overall strength. Roger and I talk about some of the lifting records set by “The Brooklyn Strongboy” Charles Phelan.  Phelan  performed a strongman act for many years at Coney Island and around the New York area. We talk about the Vic Boff booklet for prospective strongman. This booklet  teaches you the techniques used to lift odd objects and perform strength feats such as steel bending, back lifts, horse show bending and pinky lifts. We discuss how the All Around Weightlifting Association has preserved these lifts and keeps a bygone era of odd lifting alive and well. We salute our weight trainers of the past with a look inside a time capsule that shares so much more then the odd lifts as there called. Take the challenge to grow into something bigger and better! The Motivation and Muscle Podcast Show Connects Your Brain to Your Brawn. Enjoy!
