Roger LaPointe-Tough Hands-#520-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio Welcomes The President of Atomic Athletic, Olympic Lifter and Competitor, Stone Lifter and Strength Historian Roger LaPointe to the Broadcast. Eric and Roger jump right into today’s show with something every weightlifter and stone lifter needs to have:”Tough Hands.” Having tough hands was and is so important today if your involved in working in the field of manual labor. There was a time when our hands were a dead give away to what we did for our occupation. The same goes for lifting weights or unliftable objects. Most of the time we build the foundational muscles and the smaller ones to round out our physique. There are some areas of muscle building which need much more emphasizes for improvement to reach your monumental lifting goals. The hands, fingers and forearms are going to be our main topic here. Eric and Roger talk about calluses which form on the hand through heavy repetitive pulling. We illustrate the deadlift and clean and jerk as our examples. We’ve all torn calluses either in the gym or in competition. Not only will they bleed hard when there torn but they can literally knock you out of training or competition because of the serious pain to your hand they can cause. Eric and Roger talk and show you the ways to take care of your hands and ways to keep training when these tears occur. We also go into detailed description of how training with bricks, cinder blocks, stones and flipping tires will build and make your hands as tough as stone. You can have the best build, generate tons of power and endurance but if the hands, fingers and forearms are weak you’ll be limited in what you can pull and move until you shore these weak links up in your body. So if you want huge fingers and hands that generate loads of strength and power and forearms which are so much bigger then most peoples upper arms then begin your quest to Tough Hands and win!
