Small of The Back-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Scott Shetler to the broadcast. Scott is the owner of Extreme Performance Training Systems, trainer, writer and the host of Strength and Health TV.

Eric and Scott once again take on a subject that is so important to the health, your safety, and the Strength of your lower back which is Titled Small of The Back! Too many people won’t train their back for fear of injury but its just the opposite in our opinions! A few different exercises such as the Power Clean won’t do it. You must learn and put into practice a few Basic Barbell Movements such as the Squat, and various forms of the Deadlift for starters.

We also talk about some of the exercises and machines which will help you in your recovery after a very hard session of back work. These three movements are so productive that you could use them every day. One of the basic and best things to do to be tough as nails in your Strongman training is to get involved with or work in manual labor. We talk about a group of European lifters who all work in manual labor and how their bodies response to everything physical is extraordinary!

We talk about the lack of Physical Education and Physical Culture, especially in the school system. This is a red flag everywhere you look. Obesity is epidemic, the breakdown of the nuclear family and the mega devices out there to occupy yourself are everywhere! What was teaching right now too one another is going to take you in a positive or negative direction? Let’s be positive no matter what we do because the ramifications will not be pleasant!

Eric and Scott leave you with many words of training wisdom with our podcast Titled Small of The Back! Its very simple in concept. Work the heavier back lifts hard with lower repetitions and use your recovery days with a few exercises which pump some much-needed blood into those areas. Learn how to do the partial lifts in the Power Rack and eventually begin to establish in your training isometric holds.
