Spirit of Training-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Show Welcomes Frank Delventhal to the Broadcast. Frank is a Stone Lifter, Steel Bender and a Kettlebell Competitor and Trainer. Eric and Frank start the show right off with just because you’ve had a few birthday’s and you’re now in your 40’s means your far from dead in physical culture.Frank defines what the spirit of training means to him. He tells Eric that its pure joy. It’s the ability to like something so much that you know in your heart that you’ll get whatever you set your mind to. The power of training is reflected in how we conduct ourselves both in and out of the gym. We never turn it off completely nor should we. We know when we need to get back in the gym just by they way we act at times. Its a way to let lose life’s daily grind, get super aggressive and create something new with our iron and stone.Eric and Frank talk about how an injury can be a blessing in disguise. Frank never would of attempted Kettlebell’s if he never injured his shoulder. Frank equates his kettlebell training to performing small tasks with his body movements. The thing Frank stressed was these small body movements work him from head to toe. Frank uses the goblet squat as an example. Eric and Frank talk about the tenacity and drive it takes to win and to become a winner. Eric invokes his brother Jimmy and explains to Frank that no matter what happens he pictures Jimmy telling him to get back up. Eric tells Frank Jimmy would never of  wanted his brother to lay down like a dog for anything or anyone. Jimmy was here to teach us all an important lesson in humanity before he left us. We also talk about the recent loss of a friend of Frank’s. Once again we talk about the power of the iron and how it gets us through the roughest of times. One thing we fully agree upon is that you own it. Everything is on you. Win or fail you now have the ability to stand and deliver. That is so important on how one defines themselves.Eric and Frank talk about what inspires their greatness. They tell us how one injury can change the scope of your training life in a very positive way. The need to become great again and succeed in the greatest way! The thing which really matters most is passing your experiences on to others who might be facing the same dilemma. Become a Steward of Strength and lead, teach and most of all Persist!
