Eric and Christine kick our show right off with a favorite subject around Motivation and Muscle called Stone Collection. Eric and Christine talk about her new and growing Stone Collection. Christine and many other lifters have been inspired through M&M Podcasts, video and of course other fellow lifters. Eric and Christine talk about her feelings of first engaging with a stone and how the feeling was so much different from the barbell. There is so much truth to that but always remember the barbell is the base for everything you do. We talk about starting with a very small stone and to keep building it up bigger and better. There is a lot to be said when we always refer to taking small steps which lead to massive goals fulfilled! The stones are no different!We also talk about kids and what this type of training will do for them both mentally and physically at a young age. We like to start everyone out here at FBC with our sandbag courses long before we motor into lifting stones. Everything must be treated and learned here with so much patience and diligence when taking on these odd objects. The beauty of it all both Christine and I have discovered is your never to old to get a good hard lesson when lifting these objects.Another great thing about Stones is we always keep it outside. What’s better than fresh air to start or end your day’s activity? Another great thing about this type of training is you learn a stone. Sometimes just changing the angle of the lift will make it come off the ground into your arms. One of the biggest accomplishments you’ll discover is not only the physical power you’ll muster but your mind will become crystal sharp. This is why I truly believe getting out of your environment and learning new strength training modalities will make you a very hungry successful lifter.Eric and Christine end our podcast with this question.
