Train and Gain-Thinking is Required, Cherry Vanilla Smoothie and Chicken Marsala-#281-Train and Gain says it all. I’ve for a long time wanted to do a show that would give you an inspiring routine to go along with foods which would enhance your strength, recovery and your mind. Well at Motivation and Muscle we pulled that off big time yesterday. I want to introduce my co-host Erin Mackin to our Motivation and Muscle Strength Warriors. Erin has been on a few shows we me in the past but she has many other strengths we hadn’t tapped into yet. Erin is a US Marine, a nutrition coach, president of her company Paleo Effects, strength trainer and an all around athlete. On today’s Motivation and Muscle Podcast Show Eric and Erin discuss that everything we do in life from training to day to day living requires deep thinking. We discuss why people have failure in their training programs and what needs to be done to correct it. The first of many ideas we convey to our steel warriors is the ability to map a plan of action with your training and the steps we need to do to complete this with success as the dividend. We discuss what we would do when faced with the prospect that our training is going nowhere fast. We ask this question to our lifting family. Would you quit? Hell No! Maybe time off is warranted, backing off the weights, concentrating on one heavy movement for a few weeks, working on your mental capabilities. All of these suggestions are great but thinking is required. In our next segment Erin and Eric talk about her cherry vanilla smoothie recovery drink. Erin gives us some history on cherries and informs us that cherries are great for amping up testosterone. That sure got my attention. Erin lays the drink out with the directions on how to make it. Now its time to eat. Erin cooks us up some chicken marsala for dinner. The recovery meal is so delicious and packed with high amounts of protein. This show has an Italian theme to it.
