What it Takes-Eric Fiorillo The Host of The Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes Strength Athlete, Family Man, Master Plumber and a Man of Character Russell Furr to the Broadcast.

Eric and Russell talk about what he’s been up to for the last year in his weight training, what he sees in the gym whether it’s positive or negative and what his future goals are. This is why our show is titled What it Takes. One thing we realize right away when we take the challenge of Physical Culture it’s sure more than wishing that we get it done. You surely have to have What it Takes!

We talk about how Russell has not only lifted much heavier weights in the last year but has put on some very usable muscular bodyweight. Russell tells Eric that all of this came about when he was going through some very rough times in his life. We discuss the how and the why of this type of training and the big benefit of many it creates. The word that comes to mind is confidence. Without building confidence the chance of a high success rate in anything you do will become highly reduced.

We talk about the Power Rack and stress the safety of the Rack and the ability to overload in it at any point of it. Russell explains quite clearly to all of us listening that he will never depend on squat stands or spotters when he has a heavy weight on his shoulders and wants to work the squat hard. This is why the Power Rack should be your only spotter period!

We can never stress enough what a little downtime will not only do for your recovery but the mental rest that really is needed when you are moving those monumental weights. We also address your grip and how vitally important it is if you truly want to become physically strong. Eric tells Russell he feels the truly strong lifters he has noticed through the years all had one thing in common and that was a bulletproof grip!

We finish this exceptional podcast off Titled What it Takes to building and being able to take the action steps needed to make it so. This is done through proper learning, thinking, an unyielding will and the time it takes to see the goal through. I admire anyone who has the guts to lay it all out there and discover who they are. This is why Physical Culture is truly the Diamond in the Rough. Once you discover all of the hidden benefits of Physical Culture I challenge you further to see what you are truly made of and how much better you can become? Always train as if your life depends on it. Success is calling you. Listen to its call!
