Dr. William Wong-Do You Want to Know All About Ligament, Tendon, Fascia, Bone and Muscle?Eric and Dr. Wong talk about the things that can happen to you when you want to play sports. The name attached to it is called Injuries. Dr. Wong takes us from A Thru Z with different sports and what the most common injuries are. First and Foremost Dr. Wong talks about ice therapy for the first 72 hours when getting an injury. Secondly we must give the injury time to rest. Thirdly we must get back into training with the idea of rehabbing  the injury slowly.  When these three areas are done correctly we will eventually be lifting as much weight or more when completed. Dr. Wong tells us what supplements will enhance the healing of the injury and the process of using isometrics to build bullet proof ligaments and tendons using all 3 positions in the power rack. A very honest and informative approach to building, strengthening and fixing any injury which doesn’t require surgery. Dr. Wong has been there and done it. Carmen Caputo is a USA Marine Veteran, a Retired School Teacher and a Champion Weightlifter for 56 years.

Eric and Carmen start right off talking about Carmens favorite  lift which is the Deadlift. Carmen who has deadlifted enormous weights through his 56 years of lifting has done all of this drug free which lends to what a powerful man he is.

Carmen is still a competitive powerlifter at 70 years young.

Carmen describes to Eric how they deadlift every week and gives us his training routine.

Eric and Carmen talk about the mental preparation you’ll need to build up long before you enter the gym to succeed with your deadlift for the day.

Carmen talks about having his team ready every Saturday and how important it is to not have any doubt when you step on that platform to pull that big deadlift. As Carmen relates to Eric that the least little bit of doubt in your head will thwart your success in that lift.

Your thinking will make or break you in any endeavor you tackle.

Eric and Carmen talk about self confidence and how important it is to your survival and success.

We talk about words and how they can hurt or heal. Eric and Carmen give their own examples how they overcame harsh words and the beatings from the older kids in the neighborhood.

When life presents challenges and obstacles that have to be dealt with in a big way we both put them through the ground with V for Victory!

But as Mike told Eric winners look at everything as opportunities. This gives us all a chance to succeed when others won’t. Winners are natural born leaders who will shoulder a problem and always come up with a solution.

Eric and Mike talk about some players in the NFL who have made the headlines recently. We address how some lead the team by how hard they play whether you like them or not and how others just play for their own glory.

The role in sports just like life is all about leadership. Showing up is only half the battle. But being someone you can count on through thick and thin, when the odds are stacked against this is when the real leader emerges.

Lead by example.
